Meeting Challenges "Head On"   in a virtual way, via Zoom, is a reminder of what the beginning of Christianity may have looked like.

As we approach Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. the message remains the same.

Jesus taught openly, yet later during times of trial we find the disciples and followers of Jesus meeting in secret to continue to pray and worship together.  (Examples include Peter's struggle in the book of Luke or Paul's letter's in Timothy from prison).

Current times may remind us of the similar challenges as the disciples continued to fish for men. The desire for family celebrations and other church gatherings continue to be generated during the pandemic. As such, worship and all activities in our church building have been postponed, but virtually weekly Sunday worship, meetings, and activities have been available via Zoom. (Email olyfldsumc@sbcglobal.net for details).

We are still here praying without ceasing. Gathering and meeting, worshiping and praising, listening and learning, teaching and strengthening our hope and faith.  Through prayer without ceasing, we are vigilant, prepared, and patient. We continue to support and strengthen each other in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
